Taste of Muskegon Returns Under New Leadership
Muskegon, MI (November 26, 2024): Taste of Muskegon, a beloved annual event celebrating local culinary talent, is back for another year of delicious food and community fun. This year marks a new chapter for the festival as it
transitions to the stewardship of EventLAB, a non-profit organization founded by the event's original creators, Allen Serio and Brent Mullen, along with the festival’s longtime marketing director, Lisa Kraus.
Founded in 2007, Taste of Muskegon quickly became a highlight of the summer season, showcasing the diverse culinary offerings of the Muskegon area. After being managed by the City of Muskegon for several years, the festival is returning to its roots with a renewed focus on community engagement and support for local businesses. EventLAB is committed to preserving the legacy of Taste of Muskegon while also introducing new ways to enhance the festival experience. Attendees can expect the same high-quality food vendors, exciting entertainment, and family-friendly
atmosphere that have made Taste of Muskegon a local favorite.
"Taste of Muskegon is more than just a food festival; it's a celebration of our community," said Kraus. "We are thrilled to be taking the helm of this cherished event and ensuring its continued success for years to come. EventLAB will provide a stable foundation for Taste of Muskegon to grow and evolve while staying true to the core values of promoting local restaurants, fostering community connection, and celebrating Muskegon."
This year's Taste of Muskegon promises to be a memorable experience for all. Stay tuned for announcements regarding participating vendors, entertainment, and volunteer opportunities.
